A:V30 can be only used for the models with 256M memory but not for128M because there are some advanced features which have high requirement for the hardware.
How to distinguish 128M and 256M :
1. Make sure the model name on the back label is VP2009P or VP2009T, not VP2009, all models named VP2009 is 128M memory.
2. Check 7th and 6th digits of the SN number count backwards on VP2009.
If these two digits are 01/ 03/ 11/ 13, it’s 256M. If these two digits are 00/ 02/ 10/ 12, it’s 128M.
For some models, this method may be unavailable, so you can check the following point.
3. Check the last digit of hardware version, VP2009 is 256M Memory if it is more than or equal to 8, else it is 128M.
If you do upgrade on VP2009 with 128M memory, it will not succeed and the upgrade process will jump to 100% in a matter of seconds.

Operation Steps:
1. Connect the video phone and PC with a network cable, or you could connect the video and PC to a same Hub or Switch.
2. Set the PC's network property as:
IP Address :192.168.0.23
SubNet Mask :255.255.240.0
GateWay :192.168.0.3
3. run "clickhere.bat"
4. Power on the phone and at the same time long press F2 key on the video phone.(it's not the F2 key on the PC). Seconds later, you will see the phone go to update. If it fails, try again. Please press the F2 key as soon as you power on the phone.
which key is F2 on VP2009?
----There're 4 buttons on VP2009D at the top of the keyboard. Counted from the left, they are F1, F2, F3, F4. So the top left second key is F2.
Notes:
l Did you long-press the F2 soft key before the phone rebooting after it go and obtain the file?
l Did you shut down the firewall and Antivirus Program in your PC? If not, pls shut down them before the rescue.
If you have used the file with not shutting down the antivirus program and the antivirus has deleted some of the file, pls re-download the rescue tool file via the following address and make sure there are all files included.

l Try to do the upgrade for many times cause the upgrade may fail sometimes.
A: This is because the video codec is not enabled on Elastix by default. It is an easy task, because Elastix 1.5.x has the video codecs already loaded. So you just have to set a couple of things in your SIP configuration to get your video calls working.

A: You can set it on Phone Preference of web UI of the phone. It will adjust the DST automatically based on the time zone you chose.

A:Select the time zone or enter the time information manually on the webpage or the phone.

2)Check your gateway.

1) The voltage is not stable. Please replace with a stable power adapter.
2) Loose of Power plug. Try to re-plug the power.

1)If the internet cable doesn’t plug into the Internet port. Please connect the cable first.
2)If the WAN port’s type is DHCP, the server has been shut down, or there is no available IP address. You can contact with the network administrator for a solution.
3)If the WAN port’s type is PPPoE, the user name and password may be wrong. Please contact with the ISP.
A:PnP stands for Plug and Play. It is a method for our phones to get the provisioning URL. If the phone is with PnP enabled, when it boots up, it will send multi-broadcast message to its network, any server (usually the PBX) recognizes the message will respond with the preconfigured provisioning URL, so the phone will be able to download the CFG files from that URL. It needs the server’s support.
